Sepertinya ini akan menjadi artikel serius saya yang pertama Seperti yang kita ketahui, untuk sebuah perusahaan Corporate, yang punya banyak anak perusahaan dan cabang, budget di bidang IT menjadi sasaran empuk pengetatan anggaran. Mengapa, karena IT sendiri menjadi barang "halus" yang mahal. Menjadi Cost center, memang sangat tidak mudah karenaakan selalu dinilai kinerja dan efektifitasnya. Untuk perusahaan dengan budget tidak berbatas hal ini tidak memusingkan, tetapi untuk yang pusing wah… sudah tidak mungkin bekerjasama dengan vendor macam Siebel, Oracle, SAP , Microsoft , IBM dan nama nama beken nan mahal lain. Bagaimana jika kita bekerja di perusahaan yang kedua ini, kemudian diserahi tanggung jawab membangun system canggih, mudah, efisien, aman sekaligus murah (kalau bisa gratis) ?? Jawabanyya adalah pada tulisan ini.

Linux memang sedang dimasa booming. Banyak sekali distro linux bertebaran dan terus berkembang bahkan dalam hitungan hari. Kita sebagai pengguna, baik itu sebagai pengguna teknis atau user biasa memang kadang susah memisahkan apakah dengan banyaknya distro linux itu menjadi berkah atau "musibah"..hahahhaa (more…)

Sound exciting .. Yes, we can make our phone cell (with video camera, Java MIDP2 and bluetooth support) ad a wireless spy camera. How it works,..??

Let me explain in a few words. We must installing  2 application that action as a client server application. The client is set up on the PC or laptop (that have a bluetooth device), and the server on the phone. Application on the phone cell are "jar" application, yes it’s java written application. I’ts pretty small. The application is Mobiola. First install the PC application, then get the MobiolaWebcam.jar, right klik then Send To Bluetooth device. Of course you have to pairing your device and your computer.

On your phone cell, copy the jar file to Application Folder, then on Permission, set the  Multimedia to Ask Once, and the Read Write Data to Never Ask. Once you have run the application, push the Connect button, then it will search the device to connect to. If it found one, then it will connected, and in your computer will appears a video screen from the phone cell.

Pretty Cool ..  

Sebenarnya ini kasus yang kebetulan. Karena saya mau mencoba untuk menginstall MacOS X86 Leopard (yah, illegal rilis dari Kalyway agar Leopard bisa jalan di mesin X86), akan tetapi partisi sudah full.

Assalamu Alaikum ..

Pagi ini, sambil minum kopi , sy mau berbagi bagaimana cara menggunakan FDISK di linux untuk mempercepat dan mempermudah kerjaan membagi2 partisi, merubah FS, menulis ke MBR, dan banyak lagi.

Untuk menggunakan FDISK, kita butuh root permission : 

root@nebula:~# fdisk

Usage: fdisk [-l] [-b SSZ] [-u] device
E.g.: fdisk /dev/hda  (for the first IDE disk)
  or: fdisk /dev/sdc  (for the third SCSI disk)
  or: fdisk /dev/eda  (for the first PS/2 ESDI drive)
  or: fdisk /dev/rd/c0d0  or: fdisk /dev/ida/c0d0  (for RAID devices)
